......and I may be a little while! OK, point taken, semi-retro bike I admit, but it's the maiden voyage.....erk!!! You can wave me off with your white hankies if you wish to! ......

good luck!

I went out on a Retrobike today and NOTHING broke, NOTHING fell off and NOTHING needed adjusting.

Good afternoon for it.

I went out as well. Front mech dumped the chain off, but otherwise the only failure was my lung capacity

I'm still at work. Been here since 5:20am. Just another 3 or 4 hours to go if i'm lucky. Back in at 6 in the morning though.

Wish i was out riding

Bimble around the local park done!

Rear mech needs adjusting somewhat, got sick of the *clack clack clack* in the lower gears and stupidly forgot my screw driver, d'oh!

Swapping the CBR cranks for Middleburns shortly, this is just down to personal preference and nowt else. All that said it can't half shift, impressed with how it handles climbs and accelerates *chuffed* Gonna update my blog later with a low down :)

As some of you may notice, swapped the 120mm stem for a 100mm one instead and got rid of loads of stem spacers, MUCH better now. Loving Rody's 'Luv Handles' bars, they're soooooooooooooooooooooo comfy! The thumbies got some getting used to at first, kept moving thumb under the bar and realising there were no trigger shifters there, the thumbies shift flawlessly however so they're staying put (well bar the 'clackity-clack' but that's soon fixed).

The Brooklyn brakes are absolutely phenomenal. The whole lot has tied in rather well, very pleased with how it all turned out.

So...fettling with rear mech aside I'm ready for a trip up north to see the family and ride around Hamsterley Forest, which is my old training/stomping ground. Bring it on!
