get a heatgun on the axle ends, slight expansion will help pulling the end caps off the axle. dont grease the star rachet system either, clogs it up, just lightly oil. when you rebuild put antiseize on the caps so they come off easier next time. I love the noise of early hugi hubs, but they can be buggas to work on.
