how to box a wheel!

For those without unlimited access to packaging:

1. Get a bike box from your LBS (free)
2. Get some bubble wrap from the post office (~£2 for 3 metres - enough to do 2 wheels)
3. Get a roll of parcel tape
4. Cut bike box in half (I used our breadknife which worked a treat)
5. Tape up the top of the bike box (the bit they opened to take the bike out)
6. Wrap the wheels
7. Stick the wheels in the box (they fit in quite snug!)
8. Fold the new 'top' of the box tight over the top of the wheels (so they don't move about). Note how the ridges in the card make it nice and easy to fold.
9. Tape the box up.

Each bike box will do 2 pairs of wheels too ;)
