I've never liked Rapha (for this reason, it's always been overpriced to start with; plus users tend to be smug and look down on other non-Rapha folk).

Sadly Silca has gone the same way too. I used to own a silca pista track pump. Like 20 years ago when they were reasonable priced. Now I wouldn't own one on principle!

Only a fool would pay the asking price.
