How much is an STX groupset worth?

How much should I be looking to pay for a mid '90s full STX groupset in reasonable condition.
I've seen all sorts of prices on ebay for mechs & chainsets etc from cheap to what seems ott

Not too much mate as you could easily pick up a full bike with reasonable STX for £50/70 if you look.

If you want to buy the parts on their own I'd suggest:

£5 max for front mech.
£7-10 for rear mech.
£10-15 for crankset.
£10-15 for shifter/levers.
£10 for a set of four canti's.
£20-60 for a set of wheels depending on the rims.

I'd defo look out for a full bike to split though as it should work out much cheaper.

I would aim for a bike with it on, it's cheap retro stuff that keeps the bike going
Though look at a few LX parts too as they can be picked up cheap as well
