How far do I wind the non-deive side cup into the shell?

I'm fitting a new BB.

How far do I screw the non-driveside into the shell?

The reason I ask is my other two bikes that are square taper have some threads pertruding out of the shell.

I can of course get the long wrench out and force it all the way in but I want to make sure I don't break anything

My other bikes have some threads sticking out like the below

drive side is 50<70Nm but the none drive side only needs to be snug, as it only supports the body in the bracket. many none drive sides used to be made in a grey plastic, so giving them 50Nm would wreck them.

...I backed off the drive side then went back to the non-deive side (which now didn't take as much force to get flush), then went and tightened the drive side. Seems fine (just being overly cautious)

If it has no shoulder at all and both threaded locators are metal, just centralise and 50Nm torque.
