Hi, could be interested in the BB for my Amp/Mongoose. What Amp did it come off (saves a lot of hassle if the same bike) and what crank was it running? Looking for a BB to mate to a cook bros crank, but I have no idea what length BB would work.

Cheers

Ian

It came off a B5 fitted with an XT 8 speed grouppo.

I've never had a set of Cooks so no ides what length they need, someone here will tell you I'm sure. 110mm was pretty much the standard width from about 94 until the Octalinks came in.

Cooks RSR and CBRs ran with a much wider BB, 124-127mm. E cranks and F cranks ran much shorter BBs so it will depend on the type of crank you are using.

Sorry that this has been hijacked a bit regarding Cooks cranks BB lengths, but to answer a question above, I have the e-cranks so would this hope BB fit them?

Thanks

Ian
