Hope service kit

Anyone know if service kits are still available for these levers? Are the levers called DH4’s?

thanks. I was planning on opening up the Caliper, is this advisable or will I then need to re-gasket with some sort of liquid sealer? I clearly no nothing about hydraulics!

Then probably best not to mess about with it!.
If you intend to service it, get the seals first and do not use any goo or sealants. Do clean it thoroughly before reassembly.

Good advice, I only wanted to break the block in half as the pad pin head has cracked and I could have clamped onto it when dismantled, I can find another way to get the pin out

I’ve found these, the originals where completely perished / disintegrated so I don’t know what I need?

You will need all the rubber parts at least. Use the part numbers from the hopetech list you make sure you get the correct ones.

Any joy with this? I contacted Hope regarding the DH4 calibers, and they said the spares were no longer available....

However, logic says they are standard engineering seals, has anyone found suitable alternatives by measuring the seals and going to an engineering shop?

Activesport are showing stock of single seals @1.85ea
I wouldn't hold out too many Hopes on being industry std seals. When you buy enough qty in your design spec, the price is the same as a std. Industry Std means industry wide and not a one off brake Caliper. But you might be lucky.
Iirc the dh4 are 16mm, so maybe mm4 large will fit?
Hbsp068 is the seal. Also used in E4 calipers. SJS have them as a kit.

Hi many thanks. I can’t see them on activesport website. I think the DH4 are 18mm HBSP078 3mm section. Can you post the link to active sports website?
