Hope hubs on 517 CD Ceramic. Snowflaked.

Due to my riding buddy no longer needing my wheels they are now available (again!).

A matching pair of Hope hubs, Ti-Glide rear and Suspension front. Red flanges with Ti centres. Built onto Mavic 517 CD Ceramic rims. Snowflaked Sapim spokes.

Usual scuffs to ceramic coating, although doesn't affect braking, i.e. brakes do not "snatch", they still feel gorgeously smooth (I still feel like ditching my discs and going back to V's - forgot how good a decent set of V's feel!)

Wheels recently re-built (new spokes and nips) and NO, these wheels DO NOT ping or twang, they are totally silent, even under my bulk

Looking for offers OVER £100.

CASSETTE AND HOPE QR's NOT INCLUDED
Cassette is sold, open to offers on the QR's though (original Hope's)

I apologise if you were the guy who made a genuine offer last time they were advertised, I've lost your details, I would have told you first before re-posting..........honest

No problem Gents, first dibs is first dibs....

If anyone's reading, I'm after a pair of Mavic Ceramic rims for my '93 frame, which has Red ancilleries! :)

I had a WI Sus hub laced to a 261(?) Ceramic, snowflaked with red nips BITD and I'm looking to restore that wonderful look and feel!!!

Cheers
W

P.S. Snowflakes ARE cool, and mine never twanged or pinged either... ;)

Think I've got some Mavic 28h ceramic rims - they any good to you? Will have a dig if they are.

Was after 32h really as the various hub options I have in the shed are all 32...

However, it does beg a question for me... what are people's thoughts on 28 vs. 32 vs. 36 hole configs?
