Hope Bulbs on D521's. Bin them or keep them?????

I've picked up a pair of Hope Bulb hubs,red, built onto D521's.
The problem I have is that they're basically of no use to me, yet.
The rims aren't too clever, the rear is cracked and the front has 1 or 2 scrapes but is generally OK. So they would need re-building onto new rims AND the rear hub needs a conversion kit to make it QR.

It's taken me long enough to find a pair but my bikes already have:
a) Hope Bulbs on minty D521/321's, and
b) New XT on minty D521's.
I know if I sold them I'd regret it but how long would you keep them?
Question is keep or sell :?

they not unobtainable and if you wanted them that bad you wouldnt be considering selling them. also if you already have some now then sell them. maybe go for a rebuild and then sell if you can recover your costs

I guess the logical question is do you need the money you would gain from selling them and are they taking up space you dont have?

If the answer is no to both then what harm is there in keeping them?

Don't need the money at the moment and as of this afternoon there's a little less room taken up as I cut the rear hub out of the wheel :twisted:

I also tried to see how strong the rejected rim was by hitting it repeatedly with a hammer. Needless to say it only had a minor, hardly noticeable flat spot. AND that was after the hammer attack, then grabbing it and smashing it into patio slabs. The slabs came off worse

I guess they'll be keepers for now until I either need some £'s or a new set of wheels.
