Hoeser with Laiti

Never understood the one legged fork.

No doubt it's perfectly safe and stable and I understand the weight saving, but the amount of forces the front wheel can be subjected to off road must have some kind of impact.

Also feedback from the surface and general feel must be compromised when compared with a traditional fork. There's a video with Tom Ritchey opining the harm disk brakes have upon feel and feedback between surface and rider, and balance, due to one leg being reinforced and the subsequent absence of symmetry. I imagine removing one leg entirely comes with a similar cost.

Having said that I'd love to ride one for myself.
