Help with chainset for BSA Tour of Britain (early 1980s?)

Hi everyone,

I'm a complete novice when it comes to older bikes, so hoping to get some advice. I have a BSA Tour of Britain which was kindly given to me in excellent condition after my bike was stolen. Based on some forum research, I think it may date back to the early 1980s. Unfortunately one of the crank arms is damaged and needs to be replaced (see photos), and I don't have the first clue as to what specification I'm looking for. Ideally I'd like some in-keeping with the age and spec of the bike. Can anyone help me out with some advice on the appropriate parts I need to get this beauty back out on the road?

Thanks in advance :)

Agree with Shaun, only check the axle length, if a crank has larger clearance to the chainwheel you might need a longer bottom bracket axle.
Also get a pair of cotter pins.

1970's bike I reckon. I started riding with CTC 1979 and the ride leader had one of these bikes
