Help sizing Kona 19" -179,5cm...

I've been offered a 19" Kona Explosif in good condition and it's a 19" I am 179,5cm tall.

will it be incredible to big or should I just go ahead and buy it?

it doesn't have the P2 fork but a Salsa insteed...

The height range for a size 19 is c175-190, so it should be ok for you.

Your alternative would be a size 18, which is 1.2cm shorter and 2 cm lower at the front (11cm head tube rather than 13cm).

I just had my other steelframe repainted, and have to sell that one first. Or swap it with him, I like that the headtube is a bit taller so I can have a lower stem perhaps a 100mm's to compensate, insteed of a 125 that I currently have...

Kona frame fit

I ride a 19" cindercone and I'm 5' 10". It fits me perfectly with 120mm stem. Its quite streched and racy, but its suits me fine.

There is a size chart on the retro Kona web site scanned from on old catalogue if that helps you at all??
