Help Required Please Retro Pipeline

RM-Pipeline

Retro Newbie
Hi peeps, please forgive any incorrect terminology from myself I’m new to the MTB world but trying to learn. I acquired what I’ve been told us an old retro Rocky Mountain pipeline, and I’m trying to service it all myself BUT… I’m now struggling here on the pivot section and how to separate these two sections of frame? Could anyone please give me some help or know if any online videos to help me do this?

I've no experience of this frame but on other full suspension bikes I've owned, the axle has been in 2 halves, or is essentially a sleeve that joins the two halves of the frame together. Inside the axle there was an Allen bolt one side which either threaded directly into the opposite side, or a nut that it threaded to. Whichever case, unscrew the bolt and you should be able to remove the axle/tube part from each side.

Might not be much help but maybe.....
