help please! Marin seatpost size?

just got an Indian Fire Trail frame and not too sure of seatpost size. its a pre v-brake frame,decals and forks are a bluey/purple colour.
measured the inside of seatpost tube and its 31or 31.2mm depending on where i put the vernier. what would be correct?

my rocky ridge has a 31.6mm (snug fit)

you should get away with a 31.4mm providing indian fire trail is same as rocky ridge. mine is 93/94.

i have a spare 31.2 micro-adjust should this measurement be what you're after.

1994 took 31.4mm though (just search and Inigo Montoya was kind enough to list it for his build of 1994 IFT)

yep,ali frame it is. think it will end up as rigid s/s for ride to work and trail ride fun.

mine is from the 1994 season (built 1993) and has a 31,4mm seatpost.

looking like 31.4mm it will be. found a seatclamp and pair of tires and tubes i had forgotten i had in the shed today so wont be long till its ready to roll.
