Just picked this up as a bit of a project. It's French, branded Pulido and Vitus Super 971 Tubing. Sticker says made in St Etienne.

Anyone heard of them or can date it thanks. I'm guessing at early 70's??

Re:

No idea of the age but it's a nice looking frameset, really like the lug work on the head tube, a bit different from most :)

Probably mid to late ish 70's with over BB guides, long dropouts, cutout lugs and brazed top tube guides, Cinelli MC style fork crown .... Looks neat :)

Picked it up, as I couldn't sell that Motobecane I had didn't try very hard to be honest. So going to transfer all the parts on to this frame. Made in Saint Etienne and has Super Vitus 971 extra-legere tubing so ways 2.7Kg not that it matters. Trying to find out but nothing on the internet so Artisan frame probably.
Not that I know anything about vintage racers, currently on a very steep learning curve

well I have built it up and it looks pretty good if I do say myself. No tyres or crank yet. I still can't get pics of my phone :(

As I said can't get pics up??

Here's the spec anyway

Handlebars / Stem: Philippe

Wheels Alpin hubs Super Champion Competition rims

Crankset Stronglight 105 drilled

Derailers: Huret Succes Titane

Brakes / Brake Levers: Weinmann 605

So all period French stuff and no Campy

Hi Chamber66
How did you get the first one of the frame up? If not email them from your phone :)

Jamie

Can you upload them from a computer?
I just thought if you send them to an email account and you had access you could up load from there.
