Help identifying old CB MTB

Hi folks,
I'm a bit of a newby to MTBs so forgive my ignorance...
I recently aquired an early Claud Butler MTB which I am rebuilding as a fun bike. I am having trouble identifying age and model to get parts. As far as I can see there are no numbers on the frame only the badges you can see in the photos. It has good quality kit fitted so I assume it was a pricey bike when new? Any thoughts welcome, many thanks.

The frame number on my CB is on a sticker, rather than stamped into the frame itself, so if that's gone walkabout, you'll probably never know. Have a good look around the rear drop outs and under the bottom bracket though, that's the most usual places for frame numbers.

Sorry, I intended to reply to this earlier. The frame and badges look identical to my 1998 Claud Butler Carabo, though they may have used the same frame on different models. The frame number should be under the bottom bracket on the non-drive side, and I believe the first number (mine is A8******) will give you the year. If the frame number isn't there that suggests it's been removed.

I like the frame (despite preferring steel frames) and was pleasantly surprised by the bike as a whole after picking it up in near-new condition for next to nothing.
