Hi!

My fork was "moving" a bit...and I brake the screw of my ahead headset while i was trying to tight it....pfff!!!
I can't not take out the part of the screw stayed into the headset...Is it possible to take it out?
I'd like to recover this headset...but is it possible?

Bye
Gui!

If you mean the bolt in the centre of the top cap that preloads the headset, just drive the star fangled nut all the way through the steerer tube with a suitable drift and BFH, then fit a new one.

The question remains however; how did you manage to break the bolt in the first place. You did loosen the stem off didn't you? :?

For our French member BFH means 'Big F*cking Hammer'!

Thanx for the translation

AAAHHHH hard to explain with my bad english but i think that it's not the
screw you talk...its not the screw on the top as you said but the one who is on the headset...I take a pic....

I will maybe go in a "company" who have the tool to drill a very little hole and are able then to take out the part of the screw...

Does the hole go right through?
Can you screw it by tightening it and come out the other end?
It is quite an easy job if you purchase some tools and handy to know how to do. You need what is called a stud/screw extractor or more commonly known here as an easy out. You drill a small hole and screw in the easy out which bites the broken piece and screws it out.

No the hole didn't go through...

But the tool you said seems to be what I need...I tought to do something like that...I think i know a place were they can do that, if they can not i will try to find this tool...
Thank you every body!
