First post on forum. NE based cyclist of 30 years standing.

Found my way here after buying a Brian Rourke steel framed road bike at the weekend. 80s vintage in beautiful condition. I will post pictures once I've racked up enough qualifying posts to do so.

Certainly interested in views on Rourkies - It look great to me!

Is it 5 posts i need to make to be able to attach a picture, and does 5 contributions to a single thread count? If so we can just about manufacture the requisite number here and I'll stitch a photo straight on for you?

Great thing about the bike I picked up was that it was made to measure for the guy I bought it from, and he was very similar in height and leg measurement to me - so fit should be good. Just waiting for pedals to give it a test run

From my little RB knowledge, I think pedals are a requirement to enable forward propulsion. Unless, you are at the top of a hill.
