That and Blue Thunder. My childhood right there. I did ask one of the mechanics in the Air Greenland hanger in Kangerlussuaq ,South West Greenland what helicopter tape was and he hadn't heard of it before. Knew plenty about gaffer tape though..

James.

Re:

Probably not what you had in mind BUT I'm going to give clear Gorilla tape a go
once I can track some down locally.

I bought some from CRC once and it started peeling off on the first ride but left the sticky stuff on the frame. Never managed to get it off the frame!

Previously I've used clear Fablon and it's very good!

Work out the size you need, keeping in mind you need 2 sizes.A larger piece for the drive side and narrower for the non. Ebay is probably the best bet to buy odd individual sizes :?

I got a kit of different sizes...(nips off to find it....) M:Parts (Madison)
http://www.madison.co.uk/products/cycli ... sa-strips/ £17
Might find they dont have the exact sizes you need buy ebay will.

It's always pricey, so if you see some and it isnt then the tape probably isnt worth it :?

Gorillas dont use tape Rob, sticks to their hair

Re:

Have used the m part tape and it was quite good can't remember how much it was though also used some cheap stuff from chain reaction and it was crap was looking at buying some 3M tape on a roll from tweeks cycles looks quite good was wondering if anyone has tried it it's about £14 for a metre roll and think it's 10cm wide
