What size of heat shrink tubing do I need to cover the exposed parts of my cables? and anyone recommend any sellers?

cheers kaya

i can suggest something other than this
my dad used it on his motorbike cables etc. recently
braided sheath
not sure on prices etc. as he had some laying about, but, if its cheap enough
it expands when compressed to get it over the carbles or whatever, and then once on, in tension it narrows
like this

Wouldn't that rub the frame as badly as bare cable though, cyfa?

yeah buy a ti frame
no i dont think so, as it would allow some movement/flex in the braiding rather than abrade

as long as its not done too tight i suppose, so its doesnt have any movement.
depends what the purpose of the op's inquiry was

I believe the sheathing Cyfa posted is also available in various colour co-ordinated plastics.

But fleabay I think, there is some stanless sheathing that has a plastic coating on it, I was going to use if for the hydraulic brake pipe on my motorbike, Venhill I think make it.

Heat shrink, I get mine from fleabay, one can get a box of various diameters cut to two inch lengths, very useful, but when am doing wiring, I use the heatshrink with the glue inside, that stuff does not come off easily once shrunk and cured.
