Head tube crack (pics added)

Hi,just noticed I have a small crack at the top of the head tube on my cinelli unica. It's just under the headset and less than 10mm long. Was wondering if there is some sort of ring you can buy to fit over the headtube,like a stem spacer only wider. Or what else can be done to repair it?

a mate rode a Bianchi where similar had happened for years with a jubillee clip around. It looked horrible but it was a winter commuter, so looks weren't important, but not something I'd have lived with, but it might be an option

Anything that can get the headtube into compression will work - the jubilee clip is effective, although a prettier solution would be to strip the paint and shrink-fit a custom-machined ring over the end of the head tube. Ideally you also cool the frame to get the tightest fit possible.

A common problem with Alan frames: searching along those lines should offer something.

As always a photo of the crack will assist in this situation.

Talk to a local framebuilder or small engineering firm. It should only be a couple of hours job to turn the part and fit it.
