Has Anyone Got One of These?

A dark day. The wife has revolted (careful now!) and said that due to new carpets throughout the house all bikes are banned. At present they are in the garage which means that my little used car is in the drive (SORN so can't go on the road) whilst the wife's car is on the road. The car on the drive has no roof to speak of so needs to go back in the garage, which brings me to this:

Our back garden is fully enclosed with no access so security should be fine. Anyone have any experience of them? I would probably put the twins' Specialized and the wife's Rock Lobster in there and keep the Ti in the garage.

Worth putting it on a concrete footing and adding a steel loop in the concrete at the same time to secure the bikes.
I've not heard of major problems with security on them - no worse than breaking into garages anyway.

It sounds like you have firm grounds for "unreasonable behaviour" right there.

Keep in mind that although they are inside this container they still are effectively outside[air/water content etc etc],and that the parts liable to corrosion, will.

Shirley a good set of ceiling hooks in the garage will solve the issue?

It might do for one. And don't call me Shirley.

Thanks for all replies. The best answer is to sell the car I suppose. Every time the kids and I walk past it it is calling, "Drive me, drive me!"

Old work mate of mine got hit on the expressway by a transport truck (what we call an 18 wheeler over here. - I'm sure you're familiar from the movies) in his Caterham Super 7. He walked away without a scratch (car was a write-off). The truck driver died.
