Has Anyone Bodged HS33 Washers?

Hi guys,
Has anyone ever bodged the quite fat washer with the one edge filed off it? You know the one that always falls off. Chain Reaction don't seem to do them anymore. Screwfix do all sizes of washer so if anyone can tell me what size the hole is (M8 I reckon) I can get filing!

Yeah, i've used any old washers in the past. if it's the REALLY fat ones you need they do still stock these:

Depends which brakes you've got and which mounts you are using, also what fork brace you are using (that's what the fatter washers gave more clearance for in my instance).

i think you need m8's. i used 2 of them to give the bulk, works no probs

And when you do get new ones/bodge, glue them on with some silicon adhesive...stops them falling off when you QR the brakes.
