Seems to be a load of these things appearing not just on Ebay but also Amazon marketplace for around £100.

RRP is between £288 and they're still being sold at that price at many places on't net.

I'm seriously tempted but can anyone see a use for these things out exploring the countryside, they're supposed to be portable but aren't they just intended for car/street use ?

Any advice before i blow even more cash on stupid gadgets.

I know hee haw about sat nav's but would imagine garmins new bike specific computer to be a better bet. Lots of possibilities with it able to pick up power meters and HRM's as well as the sat nav functions.
