The Fonz doesn't make an appearance in this one either.

Back in October I was knocked off my bike (don't worry, the Brompton will be fine) since then other than one gentle ride off road I have been advised by the medics not to ride anything other than the ride to work which is more than a little frustrating. My physio this morning was impressed with the progress my back is making as has TOLD me to go out with my road club tomorrow morning to see how I get on.

He's also confident that I will be back to fitness to ride at Mayhem this year and I have therefore committed myself today (more than justtalkabout it) to another woeful solo performance at Mayhem 2011. I'll be the one in a Retrobike shirt in dead last place with Wu as we roll past the Retrobike refugee camp, sorry tented village, on the out lap.

The lark is on the wing, the snail is on the thorn, God is in his heaven and all is well with the world

that is great news bud ..i found it very frustrating :twisted: not getting out for a "spin"..

all the paperwork is now complete after my "coming together" with a bus, a waiting game..told it wont be much before july until there is a settlement/offer..lets see

Doctors orders cannot be disobeyed
Best of luck though but don't overdo it,no point in making things worse at this stage.Short runs to start, gradually increasing in distance.

Ive spent a lot of time off my bike from my bad spill,the joy of getting out even for 1/2 mile just makes loads of difference to your well being


But then i found this place and now im skint for the most part
