Hanging loose threads on tyres

This has probably been mentioned many a time on this forum before, and its a common problem with our retro tyres, you know it!

HANGING LOOSE THREADS.

What do YOU do ??

Do you just cut the offending thread then leave it. Or do you glue it down.

I would be interested in your opinions and fixes.

I'd just trim tight to the tyre, there will be movement on the sidewall so glue may not last.

I just set them on fire with a cigarette lighter... well it does seal the end...

I was going to suggest sellotape or a spot of glue, but I see now you want rid of them.
