HANGING bike storage solution

Is it a lot of bikes that you want to hang vertically? In that case a large hook in the ceiling will do.

Otherwise you may want to hang them horizontally.

Thanks man, yeah I have 6 maybe 8 if I can fit them in ..and my car!

Which large hooks would I need? (I'm a little scared of them falling on my car)

Cheers

It'd worry me, too - I'd hate one of my frames to get a dented tube or something bent.

Anyways, car, in the garage, are you mad? What do you do with all your junk, lawn mower, bathroom suite in boxes and fence panels?

Not a very good pic but I got these from Wiggle I think at about £5 each, get some better screws and plugs from screwfix and Bob's ya Mothers Brother.

It says they can take 10kg but my mate hung off one and hes 15 stone so no problem with your bikes falling onto your car unless they are all Raleigh Mustangs.

Ive looked at those hangers pictured above, but they make me nervous that the weight pulling on the single spot on the rim/a spoke wouldnt it egg the wheel slightly over time?

Ive got one of the 'Bikemate' double bike rack things they had in last time they did bike stuff, floor standing with a U shaped 'foot' and screws to the wall at the top and has adjustable slots in the sides so you can mount the arms anywhere and have two bikes hung by their top tubes one above the other!

Ive tried to google a pic but cant seem to fine one annoyingly!
