I want to place some gum walls tyres on my olds gillot retro/modern build. (27" 1/4 tryes)
Just think they will look much better.
My memory isn't what it used to be. But if I recall the gumwalling was originally part of the canvas side wall to the tyre assembly.
Most (if not all I see) for sale appear to be painted sidewalls. Of varying degrees of orange. Some with a grotesque orange that you seem to see people coming out of tan shops wearing!! <bleurgh>
I don't suppose there are any gumwall groupies out there that might offer a suggestion on the most appropiate gumwall tyre?
