GT Zaskar LE
This bike started life as Kona lave dome in 1997. It was gradually upgraded before the frame was swapped for GT Zaskar LE in 1998
It is in used but not abused condition. It was fully serviced about 2 years ago but has since been resting in my garage.
I've no more room for it so it's time for someone else to enjoy it.
If you're reading this you'll know the Zaskar frame was top of the line back then and is still pretty handy now. Very strong and light weight.
The frame carries a few of the original Kona components including brakes, brake Levers, stem and Project 2 forks.
Can't remember every upgrade I made over the years but some of them include
XT cranks
XT front mech
LX rear mech
Mavis rims with LX rear hub
Bontrager Bar
Grip Shift X-ray shifters
At the moment there are some old tyres from an old Hardrock on it and some plastic flat pedals. I could also throw in some old LX clipless pedals if needed.it could also use a clean up. I'll do this before sale if I have time.
Overall this is a great piece of classic MTB history and would make a great fixer up project for trails or street.
The frame is 18inch.
