Re:

Fantastic, always loved this colourway zaskar,to the point of possibly wanting one....(even though I'm an orange fan)

Nicey and shiny and purpley!

My only grump - and it is a grump - is that the Zaskar was using the Ahead system for the 1993 model year making it one of the earliest adopters, that, its reversible flip flop front loading stem and the option of the MAG 21 air/oil fork made it a very advanced model at the time

Re:

Thanks for all the comments above. Hoping to get the bike finished in the a couple of weeks but have to wind the spending in until payday!

Thanks for your feedback buddy. To be fair the build is not trying to keep to 100% factory spec as the 1993 would not have had thumbies either. I am trying to stick to components from the early 90’s and in either silver or purple. Thanks for the advice on the bottom bracket too. I’ve ordered a 127mm width to replace my 122mm.

Re:

Sourced a new 2016 Flite Ti saddle and had a change of plan with the seatpost. The bike will now be sporting a purple 3DV USE post as opposed to the silver Ritchey.
