GT Zaskar Authenticity - bit of urgent help needed

serial number is 11963245 16

can anyone help?

looks like a GT...

if it has a flat cap on the top tube after it pierces the seat tube its a model that begins with 'Z'

also the serial number should be on the inside of the drive side drop out on a zaskar if memmory serves.

comparing with mine, it looks ok:

that is indeed a zaskar, the serial number 1196 means november 96, and the 16 is the frame size, 16" = small.
