GT rear brake cable guide

I’m going to dig my Zaskar out of the back of the garage for its nth reincarnation. I have misplaced or possibly given away the rear brake guide. A look on eBay dug this one out, yep that works out about £120 delivered???!

Has anyone come up with an alternative homebrew solution? I’m thinking I could cut up a couple of bottom bracket cable guides and heat them up/bend and glue in to place?
