GT LTS 4000

Hi. Sorry not really a bike guy but I am looking for advice...
I have a GT LTS 4000 I am looking to put on EBay. As far as I can see...with the exception of the hand grips...is original, and it is in reasonable condition.
I have read in a few places on the Internet that this is a rare and desirable bike?
Is this true/false? What would be a reasonable price to expect?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am just trying to get a fair price.
