For sale is my much loved and cared for GT LTS 2000. This is an absolute classic full suspension mountain bike that apparently cost over £2000 when it was originally made back in 1998. I bought it second hand a year ago, and spent the last year pimping it up to create the awesome ride it is today. Its incredibly plush and rides like a downhill bike but with the weight of a XC bike.
The frame and the rear shock (Rock Shox Coupe Deluxe) are original, but I've replaced everything else. Heres a list of the upgrades...
Fork - Rock Shox Reba Race 100m (can be adjusted to 120mm)
Chainset - Shimano M590 Deore 2
Cassette - Shimano HG50, 9-speed
Front Derailleur - Shimano Deore
Rear Derailleur - Shimano RD-M592 Deore Shadow
Wheels - Alex RHD 26 inch
Tyres - Panaracer Fire XC Pro Folding
Shifters - Shimano SL-590 Deore trigger
Front Brake - Tektro Auriga Pro, hydraulic disc, dual piston with 160mm rotor
Rear Brake - Tektro Auriga Pro, hydraulic disc, dual piston with 160mm rotor
Brake Levers - Tektro Auriga Pro
Saddle - Charge Spoon
Seat post - FSA XC-190
Grips - Race Face Good n Evil
Handlebar - Butted alloy riser bar
In total the parts cost me almost £1000. All the added parts are in great condition - I've probably only ridden about 500 miles on it. The rear shock is also in great condition and rides perfectly. The frame has a few scratches and a small dent on the top tube but its all superficial and to be expected for its age. Its an incredibly tough double butted aluminum frame that is much hyped on the internet
Reluctantly selling for financial reasons, it was a very expensive project but a joy to build and I'd love for it to go to a good new home
I'd much prefer to not separate it as spent so much time & effort building it but will consider selling minus the fork as I know I could easily sell that separately
Would prefer buyer to collect but could send by courier - I had a quick look and Parcelforce Express 48 large is £37.75+VAT - please message me for info
