I know, thats what my wife, kids, mates, parents etc say....

BUT, that colour scheme Karakoram is on my 'need to own' list

It looks like an 18"

A quick tell tale sign at a glance for GT's is the angle of the top tube sloping down to the rear wheel.

On 16" frames, they point down to the rear wheel:

And on an 18" it effectively goes straight over the top:

Cheers, i think I have been jilted by modern small bikes! i, yeah. i remember the 20"'s didn't look quite as tidy as the 18's and indeed the 16's then. :) well I'm already on the search for a longer seat post for my small bike so i'll shut up and get me coat! :D

Best of luck though sweet bike for not a lotto. looking out for a readers ride by DMR. :)

nope, def a 16" c2c, 18" c2t, but GT class it as a 16"
Quite right! That's why Pickle's wife needs a size 14.

Can't justify it myself I'm afraid, but surely somebody will give you £80 for such a superb looking bike?
