Bought about 1990 and fork brought back from America in about 1991
but hardly ever used, so in exceptional condition - no model stickers on to know what it is.

Looks like a GT Zaskar to me.
Is the serial number stamped on the dropout?

the fork is the earliest I Rock S I have seen and uses a football style pump

Looks like an 18" to me, did you measure from the centre of the BB to the middle of the top tube?
My 95 Zaskar LE is 18" and if I'd measure it "normally" it's 20"+, which trust me. it isn't. (I wished)

Definitely not a 20" frame. GT's were measured c-c. Center of Bottom Bracket to the center of the top tube where it meets the seat tube.

Wow, that is a fantastic GT! Great condition, a Mag21, U-brakes in the rear and still has the plastic derailleur shield. I wish my wallet was as big as my love for that bike, I’d have ‘er shipped right back to where she was born (I live near Santa Ana and Huntington Beach).
