That wasn't my offer, but the seller did say he would give me a discount on the final price if I picked it up and paid with cash. I'm tempted to take him up on it just for the fork and bars.

If anybody here wants the frame by itself (it really should have a Hard Core fork ), let me know and maybe we can work something out. He's about 2 or 2.5 hrs drive from me.

You could probably clean the frame up, take a few nice pics, and resell it, a few months down the road, for the same price you work out with the seller for the entire bike. I was thinking of bidding a bit more just for this reason, as I could make use of the Hothead and fork as well

I just have too many irons in the fire right now, so I won't be bidding again.
