More details with pictures below:

1996 ORANGE C16-R CLOCKWORK, 21in

The Clockwork was called the C-16R for a couple of years as it was the 16th revision of the original Clockwork. This is a 1996 model factory-refinished by Orange in 2000 under warranty due to issues with the original finish. The Clockwork Tenth Anniversary transfers were applied by the factory at that time.

It remains in almost as-new condition as it has hardly been used since it was refinished. Paintwork is superb in a tough powder-coated orange with metal-flake. The internal tubes have been treated with Dinitrol rust inhibitor.

The 21 inch frame is in Orange 7.2 series cromoly double-butted steel tubing (Tange I think) and suits riders of about six feet or over. It is set up for me as shown and I'm just under 6ft.

Just about everything on it is in superb condition and this really looks virtually a new bike. The only negative points are the saddle, which has been damaged on the left corner, and the rims which suffer from wear to the braking surface. However, I do have another very good pair of wheels with SLX hubs and FIR rims which could be substituted.

A set of original Orange F7 rigid forks are available separately if required (see below).

Specification:
Forks: Manitou SX (recent oil change/rebuild)
Headset: Shimano SLX
Chainset: Shimano SLX
Front mech: Shimano SLX
Rear mech: Shimano XT (new old stock)
Shifters: Shimano SLX
Cassette: Shimano 7-speed
Brakes: Shimano cantilever
Stem: K-alloy Uno Ultralight quill type
Bars: Flat alloy
Seatpost: Unknown alloy
Saddle: Original Flite titanium
Hubs: Shimano LX in black
Rims: FIR rims with Orange Pro X-Country/Downhill rim decals
Grips: Orange

Price is £320 (SOLD) which reflects the superb condition of this classic mtb. Offers considered of course. :)

ORANGE P7 FRAME, 21-inch, nickel plated, 1997

I'm splitting my P7 and keeping most of the componentry for another project. The frame is straight and true with no dings or dents and absoutely no rust, which is really quite rare for a nickel-plated frame. The lacquer is generally very good with only a few marks. Hard to find a P7 frame of this era that's any better than this.

The P7 is virtually the same as the C-16R Clockwork but with enhanced heat-treated double-butted steel tubing. A very tough frame.
Price: £165 ONO for the frame only, but I'll include the Hope seatpost clamp. Or I'd take £195 for the P7 frame and F7 forks

ORANGE F7 FORKS
I have two sets of these, both for Aheadset and with long steerer tubes, 1in diameter.

One set in satin black powder coat with uncut steerer 265mm.
Unmarked and used for a few miles only.
Price £45 NOW SOLD

Second set is nickel plated, lovely condition and no rust whatsoever. Steerer is 235mm. Fits P7 or Clockwork 21in frame. Priority on the sale of these goes to the buyer of the nickel P7 frame above.
Price £50

GIRVIN FORKS
These are in very nice condition with sound bushings. They have been uprated with a spring and oil damper unit in place of the original elastomer. This gives improved performance. They are set up for a 21in Orange frame with 1in aheadset but could of course be used for other frames. Girvin forks were offered as a factory option for Orange frames and they endow any bike with bucketfuls of character. They're fairly light too.
£75 ono. NOW SOLD

Feel free to make offers if you think my prices are out. :)

Axle to crown measurement is 390mm - same for both sets.

lovely machines,

you must be a giant! LOL ;)

Nope - hardly a giant at 5ft 11in.

The larger size Orange frames don't have much slope on the top tube so a 21in P7 or Clockwork equates to an 18in Cannondale M800.
