I am thinking of parting with my first mountain bike. Cromo frame
1" steerer hard tail.
About 5 years ago I have upgraded the Altus A20 to LX rear derallieur(8 speed) and 7 speed STX shifters( low miles<100). Chain and cassette renewed at same time.
PC7 V brake levers, stx V brakes,
Coda expert straight bars 7075 Alu.
Mudguards, frame pump, original bottle(stored).
Offered it for £40 to chap at work but sure I could get more for the new bits and give him the OE parts for nothing?
It rides great with sharp changes and I am having 2nd thoughts....
Am I underselling it or is this about right? It was £500 new in 1990.
