The one time I met him it was at his house in Hampstead. He came across as just a normal guy. Friendly enough. That was about 88'. Always had a good word for him after that, despite all his angst and difficulties.
I remember all the fuss when he crashed into snappy snaps. Oops.
No age at all these days.

Used to meet him quite often in the kebab shop in Archway in the 90s. His sis runs a shop in Highgate ans I met Andrew Ridgeley's dad when he worked for Canon as a rep. N Lond is a small world.
