Geoffrey Butler with Campagnolo bits

Retro Newbie
Hello,

This is my first post on Retrobike and it's a "for sale" which may ring alarm bells. However retrobikes are not really my thing and I can usually be found on Singletrackworld under the same user name. I'm also the press officer for Bedgebury Forest Cycle club www.boarsonbikes.co.uk and am well known around the forest and plenty of people (including a doctor and the staff at Bedgebury FC will vouch for me.

I have this for sale as it came from my uncle who wanted it out of his shed and gave it to me as "you're in to bikes, you'd like this". But it's too small for me and I think I would prefer my Spesh Roubaix and STI's anyway!

So here it is, I know nothing about it apart from what my eyes tell me. It's a Geoffrey Butler frame made from Columbus steel. It has Campagnolo downtube shifters and mechs with a Shimano crank and Shimano 105 pedals. Saddle is a San Marco leather one. Wheels are Weinmann rims with Maillard hubs. And that is about all I know.

Seat tube is 54.5cm, and actual TT length is 56cm

I've no idea what it's worth so how does £50 sound? It may be over the top or someone might get a bargain. Really I just want it out of the garage and I think it's too good for the dump, so if it's overpriced, make me an offer! I'm happy with cash on collection or Paypal/bank transfer. Again as it's my first post here I'm happy to do half the money up front, then half on receipt if that helps.

I can post it for around £20 or can deliver at cost in the south eat area.

Any questions, just ask, and if I can I will answer.
