I was scanning for one for myself and didnt realise it was an old ad, was too busy comparing its paintjob to the one on firstflights website

he actually describes it as "custom" linear fade, KLEIN offered a slew of paint options in the early 2K years, this was probably one of them.

The fact it has the Gary Klein signature near the bottom bracket means its one of the 'custom' frames from 2001/2 ish. (Carsten will be along shortly and correct me)
The 'custom' deal was any colour in the current Klein range for approx £200-£350 extra, you could have Garys sig on down tube and your name down the seatstays. I had an Adept full suss in custom option(free at the time) but left of my name, as i knew i'd sell it at some point

that's the "new" gator from 2002 or so. they had a new horizon too and night storm as well. indeed only available through said custom program

Yeah mine was Plum crazy, changed to a nice golden brown depending on the light.
That Horizon linear fade is far more pink than any photo can show. We ordered one for stock......oops :?
