I'll be watching this with interest, hoping to put mine on the bay later this week. Personally I think £800 is overly-optimistic and I won't be surprised if it ends with no bids! Great condition though...

Seems odd that a bike that is

all original and has never seen any actual street miles. It is so original that the nipples are still on the original tires. It has been moved several times in our shop so it does have a few minor scratches, other than that it is new. The only dirt on this bike is what it has collected being on display for years

has got so much wear on the chainrings and has mismatched wheels. Personally I prefer yours!

yeah the chainring anodising was worn on mine too when it came from the States, yet there was no wear at all on the teeth / brake pads / rims / disc.

Perhaps the aluminium chainrings simply lose the black anodising very quickly, i.e just a few turns of the pedals???

I've yet to see one exactly as it would have been sold in the shops, they all seem a bit mis-matched to me.
