Fuel prices going down!!!!

Prices all over the place round me atm. Paid 1.37 for diesel yesterday while the garage on the other side of the road still had it at 1.41 :? Either way, it'll be back up again, higher then ever, before long

Couldn't afford to buy a house in Harrogate where I work a few years back but it costs me over £80 per month to get to work now so am thinking of paying the extra on a house now instead of chucking it in the tank

I do about 3500 miles a month and spend about £600 per month on petrol......any reductions will be most welcome here!......

Which one Ross, i need to fill up and can't find less than 137.99? I did see one last w/end in Somerest at 142.99

Never thought I'd say it but back to £1/litre would be good (wtf!!??)

i think this is the mindset the government want us in. we get so fed up of paying 1.40 a litre that we would beg to pay "just" a pound.

Cheapest is not always best. My current car runs like a bag of nails on supermarket fuel, it takes super and runs best on BP.
Over the years with various cars I have found that I will average 2-3mpg (sometimes more!) better with decent fuel.

Just imagine how a supermarket can sell fuel cheaper than the companies that make the stuff! The fuel is graded at the refineries and the fuel that does not meet their own strict grading is sold off cheaper to supermarkets.
I paid 149.99 last week for a fill up though :(
