Thats what I figured... but a little part of me keeps hoping there's a black XT set out there in that style, not sure there is though :cry:

They're actually Acera, (Grey-ish) but with LX Pads

Is there really any difference between XT, LX, STX-RC, Acera etc M-System brakes? they all look identical.

Not a great deal of difference - more polishing, XT's are cold forged, all others are cast

Yeah - the shaping on the XTs looks much better, smother curves better surface quality and a kinda titanium colour, well buffed finish...

Looking for that quality of manufacture but in Black!! Unfortunatley cast/forged alloy doesn't generally anodise too well otherwise I'd get a set anodised black!!
