Offering the complete bike before i "part it out".
Full working order & ridden until i got my Peleton Superlite.
Trek 470 Fast Track frame and fork. Cromoloy frame from the 90's. Paint it chipped and superficial rust has attacked in places. No dents. Rust has not done any damage as yet. Ready for a nice respray, or a cheap winter commuter. Mostly original Shimano RSX components.
Seat tube: 53cm c to c
Top Tube: 55cm c to c
14 speed double setup. Truvativ Elite GXP crank set, a slight squeak in the bottom bracket somewhere (spare bottom bracket included) "Smooth with a squeak"
Notchy headset. Not tried to fix this, may need replacing, may just need a rebuild.
Shimano downtube shifters, shimano front and rear mech. Shimano brake calipers. New Tektro RL520 levers. Mavic 195 rims on shimano hubs.
Original stem & bars. Never ridden bar tape. Shimmed kalloy seatpost. Poggio titanium saddle.
Been sat for a while, tubes have gone flat, not sure why.
Just looking to clear out the garage. Parting out a bike invariably does not clear the garage as quickly or effectively as selling the whole bike.
As a starting point i'll say £80 collected.
Either from Southampton area (home), or Andover (work).
I would pack it up and send it if required, but i'm not sure the bike's value warrants this additional cost.
