Complete 700c wheelset
circa 1989?
Rigida 'Aero' black rims, skinny box shape, not particularly aero...
- Suntour GPX matt silver hubs
- Suntour GPX 7spd cassette (very hard to find)
- Vittoria Rubino Tyres (White with black centre line)
Wheels are in good shape overall, wear to the braking surface, light rusting to the eyelets but overall a nice rim with a good shape.
Stainless spokes. Hubs are in good shape, and cassette is a standard ratio (these are hard to find and are unevenly spaced for the indexing function).
Suntour GPX is an interesting alternative to Shimano 105, a bit nicer in my opinion but harder to find parts for especially the block, which is particular to the shifting system.
Tyres are in average shape but perfectly useable. In fact these wheels are just fine for a commute / training bike and have only been taken off this morning after riding in to work.
£50 posted UK.
