Continuing my wife's quest to reduce my collection....here is a very interesting Ray Inkley dating from the 1980s. It's in steel (obviously) and was renovated about two years ago with a full respray and new decals. It wears Columbus badges but I'm pretty sure its Reynolds 531. Ray Inkley had a shop in Lincoln and had frames built for him but I can't find anything else about the bike. It's in fine order, looks really nice and has only a couple of marks where clamps have gripped the frame. It is well equipped with a mix of classic and new, and would make an excellent audax/day ride bike. There are no braze-ons for racks although you could fit one to the brake boss and mudguard eyes. It does have braze-ons for bottle and mudguards. Pedals not included, and the rear wheel in the picture will be replaced with the proper one (which is currently on a friends bike while his is being rebuilt).
