FS Pace RC100 SOLD

Ok,

RC100 Small (I recall)
Started life as a RC100T (team).

Honestly - its seen a hard life, but hasn't been ridden for about 15 years and has been sitting in the loft. I raced this in Sport and Expert from the day I bought it, till a RC200 came along.

It went back to pace a couple of years before that to have a new dropout - amazing when you consider how thick it is (none replaceable dropout), at the same time I recall they fitted a RC200 style seat clamp.

Pretty much the only original parts on the bike are - rc35 fork (with clamp on lower brake bosses as the original bonded ones failed) Magura brakes, and RC50 front hub (the nylon one - not carbon fiber), Bullseye Cranks, that cracked and were repaired with a nice beefy weld - wrapped in Carbon fiber tape I recall.

It needs a lot of TLC, but its a great bike, I'll be sad to see it go, but it's gathering dust and I'll never ride again, as its way to small for me.

Somewhere I have the original invoice - Horswills Bournemouth.

Ok, so this is the tricky bit.
I live in Oz these days, the bike is in the Birmingham. I'll be in Birmingham in early August for a week, if its sold, you'll have to wait till then to have it shipped. If it hasn't sold by Early July, it'll be going on the bay.

One photo attached, PM me for more.

500 quid + shipping at cost.

Cheers
RB

If the new owner wants to pass on that saddle, please give me a shout as I'd be interesting in buying pending a bit more info...

Cheers,

Sold, pending payment.

Thanks for all the interest!!!

Thank God for that... Kept coming back to look at this thread as it kept calling me back.

The pace is now back on the market .

Potential seller piked - with no obvious reason :(

I've contacted by PM those who had shown serious interest first time round.

Cheers

Still interested in the saddle if new owner wants to swap it for something more period correct...

I recall Horswills, used to carry so much stock, and lots of it very small parts.
Racks and racks of it, never seen a shop with so much stock.
The mechanic there, Bill, was a top bloke.

The Campy canti's I'm selling (or just sold!) I picked up from Horswills in around 1994/5.
I wish I'd got a chance to rummage around before they sold up. I dread to think what got binned from there when they closed.
I always get a flashback to my youth when I drive past 8)
